To Host an event What Does it Mean to Host a Toys for Tots Event? Hosting an event means your organization—whether a company, social club, volunteer group, or other entity—can support the Toys for Tots program by collecting toys for children in need. After signing up, you have the option to request uniformed Marines to attend your event, where they will collect the toys and donations, and share the spirit of Toys for Tots with your community.
Once your request is submitted, your local campaign coordinator will reach out to help you organize and finalize the details for your event. We look forward to partnering with you to bring joy to children this holiday season!
Become an Official Toys for Tots Drop Site We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support from our Alameda County community! Thanks to your generosity, all available Toys for Tots donation boxes have been handed out, and requests to become an official toy drop site are now closed for the 2024 season.
If you’d still like to get involved, we invite you to donate toys at one of our existing drop-off points or sign up for a volunteer opportunity to help make the holidays special for children in need. Please note that collection of existing donation boxes will take place between December 3rd and 13th.

Volunteer with Toys for Tots We’re always in need of dedicated volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including distributing donation boxes, collecting toys, sorting donations, and delivering them to our vetted nonprofit partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for companies looking for team-building activities, high school and college community service groups, or anyone eager to make a difference in their local community during the holiday season.

All Monetary funds donated to our local campaign go directly into purchasing toys for the community.
Request Toys for Your Organization If your nonprofit is seeking toys for children in need, please complete the form linked below. Be sure to provide accurate contact information and your valid 501(c)(3) tax-exempt number. Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive a follow-up email with detailed instructions.
Please note, while we strive to support as many organizations as possible, our ability to provide toys depends on the number of donations we receive each year. Submitting an application does not guarantee receipt of toys, and we can only accept one request per nonprofit EIN.
