On Monday, June 29, the Rafael@Home Online Streaming Platform will host RAY HARRYHAUSEN: MASTER OF CINEMA MAGIC, a celebration of the visual effects’ master’s life and work, featuring a free livestream conversation with Academy Award®-winning visual and special effects artists heavily influenced by Harryhausen.
 
June 29 would have been Ray Harryhausen’s 100th birthday. When it comes to motion picture visual effects, Ray Harryhausen (1920-2013) has been described as a legend, having been responsible for such film fantasy milestones as The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts, as well as influencing generations of filmmakers, visual effects artists, and animators.
