This free program provides art-making opportunities for parents and families to create with their children. A fun and educational alternative to “screen time,” the program is taught by professional art instructors Wendy Ricks and Lauren Volk in a variety of media – from painting and drawing to mixed media. Family Day is held onsite at the museum, now located at 1210 Fifth Avenue in San Rafael. Our Family Day instructors and assistants, will explain the art-making process and will provide guidance when needed.
