Fire Department Open House

Kids can tour the inside of a real-life fire station and all kinds of emergency vehicles (including a Coast Guard vessel!) during the Benicia Fire Department Open House.
Learn from firefighters about fire prevention in your home, watch them use a fire extinguisher to put out a real fire, and learn hands-only CPR.

Friends of the Library Book Sale

What can you get for a dollar these days? How about an enormous selection of books, audiobooks, LPs, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and more at the Friends of the Library Sale. Most items are $1 and Teen/children books are just 50¢!
