On Family Access Day, The Walt Disney Family Museum invites children with disabilities and children with special health care needs to enjoy the museum's galleries, free-of-charge, with their friends and families. Our doors open one hour early for qualifying families, so that they can enjoy a quiet environment before the museum opens to the general public. In addition to exploring the galleries and learning about animation, innovation, and inspiration through Walt Disney’s life story, guests can work on art projects, make stop-motion films, and watch a classic Disney movie in our theater. Additionally, Family Access Day guests will be granted early admission to our new special exhibition, Now Playing: Mickey Mouse Film Posters, located in the Lower Lobby Gallery.
