Urban Sprouts plants the seeds of social equity to build healthy and thriving neighborhoods through community and garden-based education.
We feel the outdoors – specifically safe and beautiful outdoor environments -- are the bestconduit for advancing healthy, economically thriving, and culturally connected communities; they should be accessible to all. We leverage our gardens as interactive classrooms, welcoming places for meditation and creativity, sources for fresh and nutritious food, and as incubators for a 21st-century workforce that understands the importance of environmental stewardship and social justice.
We believe that no form of community building is effective unless it is free or accessible to all and with your support, we can ensure that the festival remains accessible. Your contributions to our fundraising efforts directly supports our job training programs for youth, garden education classes, and nutritional wellness for the community.
