The Masquerade Menu of Fun
10:00 am – Noon: Purimpalooza
Experience the traditions and story of Purim through crafts, games, hands-on activities, creating mishloach manot (Purim baskets), and more. Be enchanted by magic, show off your Purim look at the photo booth, enjoy our outdoor playground, decorate a hamantaschen, and dance along to live music by Jonathan Bayer. Costumes encouraged, smiles required!
10:15 & 11:15 am: Nosh & Learn
An adults-only space to explore Purim traditions and ancient stories with Jewish educators.
11:00 am: Shushan Get Down
A special dance party for kids ages 6 and younger (and their grown-ups and siblings) to dance and jump around to live music by Melita Silberstein & Friends.
Need a more mellow experience? Stop by Esther’s Oasis to recharge in a quiet, calm and low sensory space.
Hamantaschen included.

Special Live Performance
12:15 – 1:00 pm: Wicked-Themed Purim Shpiel
Step into the land of Shushan like you’ve never seen it before – a place where Esther meets Elphaba! In this Wicked-inspired Purim shpiel, the courage of Esther soars to new heights, set against the magical backdrop of Purim traditions. With Congregation Emanu-El’s cantors leading the way, enjoy reimagined songs from Wicked that highlight Esther’s bravery and the themes of standing tall in the face of adversity.
Expect dazzling costumes, groggers galore, and an empowering story that inspires everyone to “defy gravity” and embrace their inner hero.
Parking is limited. Please consider arriving by foot, bike or public transportation. There is secure bike parking.
Children must be accompanied by adults to attend.
