We are excited to announce Mardi Gras Carnaval February 17th, 2024. Parties on the Parade Route 2 locations this year. A combined audience of over 50,000 will pack Old Sacramento. One on the Old Sacramento Waterfront (Embarcadero) and the second at the Freeway Gardens in Old Sacramento. The Krewe of Gumbo parade will start to roll at 1PM. The Krewe of Gumbo has been organized by Louisiana Sue & Friends and will be leading the Mardi Gras Carnaval Parade this year held in Old Sacramento Waterfront. Parade begins to move at 1pm on February 17th.
What to expect at in the Mardi Gras Carnaval parade: 2024 Krewe of Gumbo will line up 11 A.M. and we roll at 1pm with NOLA CAL Secondliners, Ophir Prison Marching Band, Krewe of Gumbo Truck Float, Garrett Wilkins & the Parrothead Band float, Z Crew Dance Team salute to Barbie With a Gumbo of Barbies & Kens with the Barbie Jeep, Sactown majorettes Dance Team, Dieu Q Lion Dancers, The Mexican Queens & Barbies Float & much more to be announced.
